Reviews

Plump and off-dry, with succulent peach and honeydew flavors that finish with a sweet accent.

Crisp and fresh aromas of saline, lavender and chilled Asian pear slices are a nice start. Meyer lemon and grapefruit flavors are seasoned with spicy clove and ginger notes and a touch of pine needles. More acidity would be welcome, but overall an enjoyable wine.

The wine's primary aroma of pineapples and wet rocks is joined by a trace of something smoky, like a roaring campfire at the beach. Peaches and lemon-lime soda pop flavors are tempered by a bit of orange zest. This off-dry Riesling is need of a bit more acidity.

This is indeed a sweet wine. The wine also has plenty of acidity, so it has that going for it. Aromas of lemon tarts and 7-Up are a canary in the residual sugar coal mine. Flavors like lemon drop hard candies and a peach margarita continue the theme. The wine is sweet without hitting cloying territory.

Sweet, polished, focused and expressive, playing the grapefruit, pear and spice flavors against bracing acidity. This avoids being cloying, and persists harmoniously. Delicious now, but should deepen with cellaring. Drink now through 2025.— H.S. (5 March 2015)

BEST BUY ~ The sweetness gauge on the back label indicates this as medium dry, and at 3.2% residual sugar, there is more than a hint of sweetness.
